Freshman Summer Program

The Freshman Summer Program (FSP) is a five-week residential academic enrichment program designed to assist students with transitioning from high school to college and prepare them for the academic rigor of the University of Kentucky.  

The program goal is to build a solid foundation that leads to increased retention and ultimately graduation. FSP participants will enroll in college level courses, learn about and connect to campus resources, and begin to develop a sense of belonging and community here on UK’s campus. Students who participate in the FSP program begin the fall better prepared to navigate their courses and the University.
