    • AVOL provides education, testing, housing, and other support services for individuals in Lexington and Central Kentucky.
  • Lexington Pride Center: lexpridecenter.org/
    • The Lexington Pride Center (formerly Pride Community Service Organization) is the oldest LGBTQIA+ organization in Kentucky that serves Lexington and Central Kentucky.
  • Lexington Fairness: lexfair.org
    • Lexington Fairness is a community action group that focuses on grassroots advocacy, network building, and educational outreach.
  • TransKentucky: transkentucky.com
    • TransKentucky is a support, social, and resource group serving Lexington and the state of Kentucky as a whole. It is the mission of this group to provide a safe place for transgender individuals and people who feel they do not fit into the standard gender norms to express their true selves.

    • The Kentucky Commission on Human Rights is the state government authority that enforces the Kentucky Civil Rights Act (Kentucky Revised Statutes Chapter 344), and, through its affiliations with the U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, enforces federal civil rights laws.

    • Based out of Louisville, the Fairness Campaign seeks to dismantle oppression and build an inclusive community where all individuals are valued and empowered to reach their full potential.

    • The ACLU KY is an advocacy group focused on protecting the civil rights of all Kentuckians.
  • Kentucky Youth Law Project, Inc.: kylp.org
    •   The mission of the Kentucky Youth Law Project, Inc. is to enhance and protect the legal rights and entitlements of Kentucky's lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, gender fluid, and gender non-conforming children and youth through free legal representation, education, and public policy advocacy.

    • TEP is dedicated to serving trans* folks across the U.S. Their mission is focused on moving the trans* community out of crisis and into empowerment.

    • The Committee on Lesbian and Gay History was founded in 1979 to promote the study of homosexuality in the past and present by facilitating communication among scholars in a variety of disciplines working on a variety of cultures.

    • The BRC is the oldest national bi organization in the U.S. that advocates for bisexual visibility and raises awareness about bisexuality throughout the LGBT and straight communities.

    • Campus Pride is the leading national non-profit focused on fostering and assessing LGBTQ* friendliness at US colleges and universities.

    • LGBT National Help Center, founded in 1996, is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization that provides vital peer-support, community connections and resource information to people with questions regarding sexual orientation and/or gender identity.

    • The Human Rights Campaign represents a force of more than 1.5 million members and supporters nationwide.
