Workshop Descriptions

  • Eating & ADHD: This interactive workshop will address unique nutrition considerations for those with ADHD. Learn supportive tips and strategies for navigating food & eating.
  • Gentle Nutrition: A Non-Diet Approach to Eating: This workshop will take the confusion out of eating while helping to develop a healthier, positive relationship with food.

  • Intro to Meditation: A brief introduction to the practice and benefits of meditating. Learn strategies to incorporate meditation into your life to help reduce stress, regulate emotions, and ground yourself to the present moment.
  • Managing ADHD: This workshop goes over basic information about ADHD, such as how it commonly manifests and can impact one's general functioning. The workshop provides simple, basic strategies for navigating life with ADHD in more adaptive and productive ways.
  • Overcoming Imposter Syndrome: This workshop addresses the common feeling of not being good enough to be in the positions you are in. Whether you feel like you aren't as smart as others in your class or don't really deserve the opportunities you've earned, this workshop will help you understand this feeling and work to overcome it.
  • Overcoming Perfectionism: This workshop aims to address the feeling that we have to do everything right to have value and worth. Learn more about what perfectionism is, how it tends to cause more stress, and how we can take steps to strive for excellence without holding ourselves to being "perfect"
  • Overcoming Test Anxiety: This workshop helps to address the common issue of anxiety as it relates to taking exams or other forms of testing. It explores the ways that test anxiety often shows up and some simple techniques for reducing anxiety before, during, and after an exam.
  • ReFocus: This workshop is a great opportunity to explore your work and study habits and understand the obstacles that prevent you from staying on task. You will go over what makes it harder to focus, learn about common strategies to increase focus and improve habits, and establish some adaptive approaches to getting your work done.
