Atticus White (they/he) serves as the Assistant Director for the Office of LGBTQ* Resources at the University of Kentucky. In this role, they oversee office events and programming, supervise and support student ambassadors, and curate resources for those in need. He has collectively worked for the office for over three years, beginning as a student intern in their undergraduate career. He returned to the office in 2022 as the office’s administrative assistant and then began serving as assistant director less than a year later. He strives to cultivate a safe and affirming space for students of all backgrounds and identities on campus. Community and connectedness are crucial values in his life, and he hopes to pass these on to students during their academic careers and beyond.

Originally from Scranton, Pennsylvania, Atticus relocated to Kentucky to pursue their higher education. He received his bachelor’s in theatre and creative writing from the University of Kentucky.
