UK Invests: Campus Recreation

UK Invests is a new, first-of-its-kind initiative nationally that will help students build a foundation of financial literacy, allowing them to achieve greater financial security, career readiness and well-being. Through this initiative, all UK students (undergraduate, graduate and professional students) will have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of financial wellness, practice financial investing and receive monetary rewards for institution-identified healthy behaviors.

Welcome back, Wildcats! The Fall semester is quickly approaching and so are Fall hours of operation! Wednesday, August 16th, the Johnson Center and Alumni Gym will begin Fall hours of operation. Check out those hours below!

Last Day for Summer Rec Swim

As Lancaster Aquatic Center prepares for the Fall semester, Summer recreational swim is coming to a close. Tuesday, July 25th, is the last day of Summer recreational swim hours! Fall hours of operation for recreational swim will begin the first week of classes.

2023 Donations for Citations Drive breaks record

This year’s Donations for Citations drive was the largest ever, netting more than two tons of food and personal care items for UK’s Big Blue Pantry (BBP). University of Kentucky students and employees donated more than 4,358 pounds of pantry staples, topping last year’s amount by more than 1,300 pounds. Everything to know about DanceBlue 2023

Each year in the spring, University of Kentucky students gather in Memorial Coliseum to dance and stand for 24 hours to support the patients in the DanceBlue Kentucky Children’s Hospital Hematology/Oncology Clinic. Leading up to the dance marathon, students fundraise all year long for their chance to dance. This year’s marathon will be March 25-26, and DanceBlue is encouraging the community to come and be a part of the event. Read the full article on UKNow

Group Fitness Schedule Restarts Today

Welcome back from Spring Break, Wildcats! Our fitness program offers a wide variety of classes lead by nationally certified instructors who support you along the way. With the semester winding down, finding a fitness class that fits your needs may be easier than ever! Registration is not currently required, but is highly recommended. Be sure to check out both schedules so you know which location to visit!
