Molly Reynolds serves as the Acting Associate Vice President for Student Excellence at the University of Kentucky.  In this role, she is responsible for building strong connections between Academic Affairs and Student Success to provide exceptional support to students. To promote persistence and timely graduation, units within Student Excellence work collaboratively to equip students with strategies to help them excel inside and outside of the classroom.  Student Excellence includes the following units: Center for Academic Resources and Enrichment (CARES), First-Generation Initiatives, Stuckert Career Center, Student Support Services (SSS), Transformative Learning (TL), and University Academic Advising (UAA).    

Prior to her role as Acting Associate Vice President for Student Excellence, Reynolds served as Director of Transformative Learning, Director of Presentation U, and faculty lecturer in the College of Communication & Information.  Through these positions, Reynolds has remained committed to removing barriers for students to have access and opportunities to live lives of meaning and purpose.  

Reynolds received her bachelor’s in broadcast journalism from the University of Kentucky, Masters in Communication from the University of Cincinnati and Doctorate in Instructional Communication, from the University of Kentucky.
