Nancy Stephens, M.S. Ed.

Parent and Family Communications Manager

Nancy Stephens serves as Parent and Family Communications Manager at the University of Kentucky, a position she has held since November 2023. Previously, she spent more than 20 years in New Student and Family Programs working with the K Week fall welcome week and the Parent and Family Association. She frequently collaborates with offices and organizations across campus, gives presentations to families of prospective, admitted, and current students, and supports Student Success Central Operations with communication projects.

A Lexington native, Stephens is a graduate of Centre College and received a master’s degree in higher education from UK. She is an active member of AHEPPP: Family Engagement in Higher Education, including serving two terms on the board of directors. In 2021, she received AHEPPP’s Outstanding Senior-Level Professional Award.
