Steve Stauffer headshot

Steve Stauffer serves as the Director of Facilities Planning and Resources for the Office for Student Success.  In this role, he is responsible for planning, renovation and construction of facilities and office space as well as the day-to-day management of all facilities for Student Success.  In addition, he serves as the primary point of contact for UK Facilities Management and Physical Plant as well as for students, faculty, and staff for facility, operational, and emergency issues. 

Prior to his current position, Steve worked in the Office of Residence Life in a variety of roles, most recently as Associate Director of Operations.

Professionally, Steve has been involved in leadership roles in multiple professional organizations, including the Kentucky Association of Housing Officers (KAHO), the College Personnel Association of Kentucky (CPAK), the Southeastern Association of Housing Officers (SEAHO), and the Association of College and University Housing Officers - International (ACUHO-I).

Steve earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Transylvania University and a Masters of Education degree in Student Personnel Services and Counseling from Eastern Kentucky University.

Steve and his wife April live in Lexington and have two sons in high school, Caleb and Samuel.
