Tony Ralph, J.D.

Director of Training and Development

Tony Ralph serves in the Office of the Vice President for Student Success to support the development, engagement, and success of our employees. In Student Success, we recognize that our staff and faculty are our most precious resource in serving our students. In his role, Ralph helps provide resources and support for our employees in areas such as hiring, onboarding, professional development, supervision, and well-being. He also works to develop a culture of appreciation and engagement for employees and serves as a liaison to help address staff concerns.

Prior to this role, Ralph served as the Director of Residence Life at UK, leading a housing operation with roughly 40 full-time and 300 student employees. In this role, he recognized that attending to the development and well-being of staff can more positively impact the student experience, and he now brings that focus to Student Success as a whole.

Ralph earned his J.D. and an M.S. in College Student Personnel from Indiana University, Bloomington. He received his B.A. from the University of Notre Dame.
