About Religious and Spiritual Life

UK Religious and Spiritual Life's mission is to provide support for students in finding or creating a community consistent with their faith tradition, worldview, or spirituality.  We provide opportunities for students to explore and enrich their own identities while connecting with individuals from different worldviews and traditions to enhance their knowledge and understanding.

For Incoming First Year and Transfer Students - Get Help Finding Your Community!

If you are new to UK starting in the Fall of 2026, we have a brief form that you can complete if you would like our office to reach out to you!  We can help connect you with an organization or community resource based on your religious/spiritual identity, and what type of programming you're looking for.  You can find the form via this link.

Justin Sadle

Justin Sadle has served as the Director of Religious and Spiritual Life since July 2023.  Previously, he was the Director of Jewish Student Life since July 2019.  Prior to working at UK, he served as regional director for a non-profit youth leadership organization, starting in Louisville, then moving to Southern California, followed by Long Island, New York.

Justin grew up in Louisville, and completed his undergraduate studies at UK, followed by a Master’s degree from the Patterson School of Diplomacy and International Commerce.

Justin was thrilled by the opportunity to return to his alma mater and home state in 2019, and continues to cherish his second experience on UK’s campus.  He is an avid fan of all UK sports, as well as Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.  In his free time, he enjoys traveling, being Uncle Justin to his niece and nephews, and spending time with his dog, Riggo.
