Christine Blank
Major Exploratory Associate
Christine is originally from Perry County, Kentucky, but now counts Lexington as home. She has been at UK for 19 years, spending 14 years in advising in the College of Arts & Sciences, and then also working with the College’s Living Learning Programs. Christine has her master’s degree in higher education from the University of Kentucky and her undergraduate degree from Asbury University.
Prior job that shaped her: Christine’s first job in higher education was in admissions at Transylvania University. While there, she discovered that working in higher education, with students, was where she wanted to be.
How she describes herself: A good listener, passionate about helping others reach their goals, and a UK fan (especially basketball!)
What she enjoys doing outside of work: Traveling and spending time with family and friends.
A goal in life: To make a positive difference in the lives of others.
Fun fact: Christine’s favorite color is purple.
