UK International Students
You may receive resumes from international students who need sponsorship. Don't dismiss those applications out of hand; take a closer look! The precedent for international students to obtain temporary U.S. work authorization is longstanding and well-established, and the application process is straightforward. The International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS) office provides leadership and expertise to UK students to facilitate employment authorization, which is approved by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service.

Success Starts Here
- Contact the Employer Relations Team: Reach out to the Employer Relations team at the Stuckert Career Center to introduce yourself and your organization. Express your interest in creating a mutually beneficial partnership to enhance your brand's presence on campus.
- Understand Campus Needs: Work with the Stuckert Career Center team and strategic partners to understand the needs and expectations of students and the university community. This can help you tailor your brand's offerings to align with the interests and aspirations of the students.
- Offer Internships and Co-op Opportunities: One effective way to enhance your brand's presence on campus is by offering internship or co-op opportunities to students. These experiences can give students valuable real-world experience and help them become more familiar with your organization.
- Participate in Career Fairs and Events: Attend career fairs and campus events organized by the Stuckert Career Center and college-based Career Services. These events provide an excellent platform to showcase your brand, meet potential candidates, and network with students and faculty.
- Guest Speaking and Workshops: Consider offering to give guest lectures, workshops, or seminars related to your industry or field of expertise. This can establish your brand as an authority in your area and provide valuable knowledge to students.
- Job Shadowing: Explore the possibility of hosting UK students through job shadowing. By helping them with career development and personal growth, and allowing them to experience your industry.
- Collaborative Projects: Collaborate with university departments on research or industry-specific projects. This not only benefits students but also creates positive associations between your brand and the university.
