Lancaster Aquatic Center
Opened in 1989 and located adjacent to the Johnson Center‚ the Lancaster Aquatic Center offers indoor swimming to the UK community and is the home of UK’s Varsity Swim Dive Team.
During open recreation, we provide 8-22 lanes for lap swimming and we host many recreational events throughout the year.
Swim lessons and Certifications are offered at LAC. Information and Registration

Access
This facility is open to UK students, faculty‚ & staff with UKID. Cooper Drive Veterans Administration employees are eligible for access with departmental identification and employment verification. Spouses and dependents of the UK community are may purchase an annual pool pass membership.
To enter Lancaster Aquatic Center, guest minors must be 48" tall, monitored by an adult, and have a waiver completed by a parent or guardian.

Parking & Bus Service
A pay lot is located on the corner of Complex and Sports Center Drive.
Check the UK Parking website for rules pertaining to all university parking lots, UK parking permits, and visitor parking. Parking rules are subject to change without notice. The University CATS bus runs along University Drive, which is a short walk to and from the Johnson Center.
