Uriah joined the FSL community in Fall 2022 as the acting National Pan-Hellenic Council Advisor, then later became the Associate Director of Council & Organizational Development and in March 2023. Originally, from Louisville, Kentucky, Uriah comes from many areas in higher education such as fraternity and sorority life, belonging, housing, and residence life from Kentucky and Ohio. Uriah is a triple alumna of the University of Kentucky, where she has earned a Bachelor’s in Psychology (2016), Master’s in Social Work (2019) and her Doctorate of Social Work (2024). Living by the philosophy of "reaching back as you move forward", Uriah wants to be able to contribute to the legacy of community, excellence, and scholarship that is the heart of UKY FSL. Uriah's favorite part of working in FSL community is the opportunity to connect with students as they build community and serve the greater UK campus. Her goal for the FSL community is to create intentional connections between councils, empower student leaders, and instill each member of the FSL community with the tools needed for success. In her free time, Uriah loves learning about superheroes, reading books, hanging out with friends, and discovering new beauty trends.
