Lizzie Finley

Student Wellness Coordinator Senior, POWER

Lizzie Finley serves as a Wellness Coordinator Senior for Prevention, Outreach, and Wellness Education Resources (POWER) at the University of Kentucky. In this role, she oversees content areas including sexual health and healthy relationships, connection and belonging, QPR trainings (Question. Persuade. Refer.), nicotine cessation appointments, and Well-Being Blueprint Sessions, as well as leading the effort for student development, having served students in this capacity since 2017. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Child and Family Studies from Eastern Kentucky University and a Master's in Adult Education from Western Kentucky University. Lizzie has a passion for educating students on topic areas that are traditionally more difficult to discuss. She enjoys creating safe and open environments for students to engage in and ask questions. She also really enjoys seeing the personal and professional growth of the Peer Health Educators throughout their time on staff.
