 Our team provides robust support through:

  • 1-on-1 Advising: Personalized guidance to help you navigate challenges and make the most of available resources. Whether you are looking to connect individually or apart of a student organization, we are glad to support.  

  • Event Collaboration: Partner with us to bring your event ideas to life. 

  • Coaching: Receive individualized support to develop new skills and strategies. 

  • Resource Referral: Connect to additional resources and services as needed. 

  • Bilingual Support: Provides support for bilingual needs in Spanish.

    • Throughout our the academic year, our office host and cohost a variety of different programs and initiatives open to the UK community.
    Student Support
    • The Martin Luther King Center offers friendly and tailored support to undergraduate and graduate students from all over the commonwealth. We provide a welcoming and safe space to assist students in navigating through the University of Kentucky.
    Multipurpose Community Space 
    • Our community space is open to all UK students to utilize for connecting with peers, to study, engage with MLK Sponsored programs and/or to host events. If you are interested in utilizing the space, reservations are accepted primarily after Business Hours 6 p.m. unless otherwise approved by staff. For space reservations, please visit https://meetatbigblue.uky.edu/ 
    Study Room
    • Our study room is available on a reservation basis for groups of 4 or less to utilize for studying, group projects or private meeting.
