Rae Bruce

Marketing Specialist, POWER

Rae Bruce is the Marketing Specialist for the POWER unit. Through this role, Rae facilitates staff marketing requests by designing digital and print-based advertising. Rae is a University of Kentucky graduate with a bachelor’s degree in both Digital Media Design and Art History / Visual Studies with a concentration in visual arts. Upon graduation, Rae co-organized an independently-ran theatre organization, Pope Lick Productions, with peers in Bowling Green, KY, who were successful in the reproduction of The Trestle at Pope Lick Creek. Through this venture, Rae discovered a passion for arts administration and creative project management that has transitioned into expertise within her role at POWER. This expertise has allowed Rae to combine interdisciplinary knowledge with a drive for developing a recognizable visual language to make POWER’s visual identity synonymous with its mission. 

Rae finds balance and sharpness of the mind in organizing and contributing to multiple projects simultaneously, as she is an avid craftsperson who appreciates and enjoys all forms of art. Rae spends time outside of her profession watching and analyzing video media such as film and television, reading, and spending time with her cat, Emmie.
