Wildcat Check-in Week April 6 - 10
Wildcat Check-in Week is a campus-wide mental health and suicide prevention initiative led by Student Well-Being and coordinated by Prevention, Outreach, and Wellness Education Resources (POWER), in partnership with UK HR Health and Wellness and the UK HealthCare Healthy Kentucky Initiative.
The initiative is designed for all students and employees and aims to promote person-to-person connection, help-seeking, and a shared culture of care across the University of Kentucky community. Programming throughout the week will focus on mental health awareness, suicide prevention, mental health stigma reduction, and positive coping strategies, with alignment to the Emotional Dimension of Wellness.
