Registered Student Organization Resources

Below are a list of additional resources that are available to all registered student organizations. 

Folding Table Rentals

Five lightweight foldable tables are available for use by registered student organizations for any type of tabling events.  Tables are allocated on a first-come, first served basis. Organizations are able to request multiple tables at one time if needed.  Tables should only be used for the purpose of supporting a student organization. Requests for tables and speakers must be made no later than 3 business days in advance of an event.

Speaker System Rentals

Large and small speaker systems are available for use by registered student organizations at tabling and events. Speakers are allocated on a first-come, first served basis. Organizations can only request one speaker system at one time. Speaker systems do not including staffing. Requests for tables and speakers must be made no later than 3 business days in advance of an event.

Presentation Adapter Kit

Adapter Kits: Student Organizations & Activities have 2 adapter kits available for use by Registered Student Organizations. Each kit contains one 6 ft HDMI cable, a HDMI to USB-C converter, and a iPhone headphone (to USB-C) converter. These can be reserved for up to two (2) business days. These are intended to support registered student organizations, their events, and recruitment. Student organizations are responsible for pick-up and return of reserved sound systems by set deadlines.

Graphic Design Services

All registered student organizations can take advantage of a Graphic Design Request service once per academic year.  We encourage you to sign up 3-4 weeks before your deadline to ensure that our Graphic Designer will have enough time to complete the project.  Due to the large number of requests, it may take the graphic designer 1-2 weeks to contact your organization.

Campus Room Reservations and Event Planning

Registered student organizations have access to reserve rooms and spaces all across campus at free or discounted rates. The room reservation and event planning process is handled by the Office of University Events.

Recognition and Development Opportunities

Funding

Registered student organizations do not automatically receive funding once they are registered. Funding is available through the Student Government Association funding request process. These fundings come in a variety of different types of grants: General Funding, Service, Travel & Registration, and Recruitment.

RSO Digital Camera Usage Request

Student Organizations & Activities has a digital camera available for use by Registered Student Organizations. The camera can be reserved for up to two (3) business days. The camera is intended to support registered club sport student organizations, their events, and recruitment.

Hydration Station

UK Recycling has made available a 4-spigot, table-top water dispenser to all UK departments and registered student organizations to promote reuse and waste reduction on campus. The unit can provide filtered and chilled water to any outdoor event where a water connection is available within 200 feet for any event at least two hours long.

Locker storage

The Center for Student Involvement has 182 storage lockers available in multiple sizes for student organization use. Lockers are available on an academic year basis and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. If necessary, organizations can request multiple lockers to assist with storage needs during the school year. Lockers will only be accessible during Center for Student Involvement hours of operation.

Copy Machine Access

The Office of Student Organizations and Activities provides copy codes to registered student organizations. The copier for this use is located in the Student Organization Workspace. This copy code allows each registered student organization to make 200 black and white copies and 100 color copies each school year. Each registered student organization is assigned a unique copy code for this use that they receive via email. These codes are for making copies only.

Student Organization Office Space

A limited number of office spaces are assigned to specific student organizations for use during the academic year. Check back here soon for more information on applications for office space!

Student Organization Workspace and Design Center (A252)

The Student Organization Workspace suite offers space for all organizations to connect and work in Suite A252. This space is not available for reservation.
