Welcome to TRACS!

TRACS - The Triage, Referral, Assistance, and Crisis Support Program is a comprehensive initiative designed to provide immediate support and effective intervention for individuals experiencing various forms of mental health issues and/or crisis. Our program ensures that individuals in distress receive timely and appropriate care, bridging the gap between immediate needs and long-term solutions. We are the gateway for referrals to the UK Counseling Center and make referrals to other on/off campus resources. If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health issue, you can fill out the GET HELP form, call 859-218-7227, email TRACS@uky.edu or stop by the office in the Gatton Student Center, East Wing, 3rd floor, to make an appointment. We are here to help!

How we can help:

  • Provide support for any mental health concern
  • Assistance dealing with trauma related to a recent crisis
  • Conduct outreach to every student when a referral is received
  • Provide clinical case management, resource linkage, case coordination, collaboration
  • Provide assistance with resources to support basic needs; assistance with housing, rent, utilities, food
  • Explore well-being support in other units
