CARES provides drop-in tutoring sessions for various math and science courses as well as PSY 100.

CARES Relaxation Room offers a serene escape where students can rejuvenate with 30-minute massage chair sessions.  The service encourages balance, stress reduction, and a renewed sense of energy, which is essential for academic and personal success.

CARES provides one-on-one and group advising aimed at providing resources to support students’ academic, career, and social-emotional goals.

CARES signature programs include annual events, interactive workshops and celebratory gatherings.

First-Generation advisors collaborate with college advisors to support the success of first-year students. The program advisor monitors the transition into college life, academic progress, early alerts, and midterm grade reports. Students can make an appointment with an advisor through MyUK or by emailing firstgeneration@uky.edu.

The Harambee Unity Graduation Celebration is dedicated to honoring the success and journey of our students at the University of Kentucky.

Study time and resources include computers available to students in the CARES program.
