Adopted by the Board of Trustees in March 2013, the University Creed symbolizes what it means to be a Wildcat and a member of the UK community. Drafted by students, faculty, staff and alumni, the Creed reminds us of the core values of our institution and encourages each member of the Big Blue Nation to strive for excellence every day. -UKPR

As a Wildcat,
- I promise to strive for academic excellence and freedom by promoting an environment of creativity and discovery.
