About Trevor:

Trevor is originally from Louisville, Kentucky and came to Lexington in 2013 when he began his undergraduate studies at UK. Trevor went on to earn his BA in Psychology, followed by Master’s degrees in Sport & Exercise Psychology as well as Counseling Psychology. Trevor is a Professional Certified Coach and trainer through the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and a certified Gallup Strengths Coach. Trevor began coaching as TA in 2019, and became has been a full-time Integrated Success Coach in Transformative Learning since June of 2021. He is the coordinator for the Group Coaching program within Transformative Learning.

Prior jobs that shaped him:

While earning his Master’s degree in sport psychology, Trevor was an Academic Services Assistant with CATS within the Athletics Department at UK. Here he found a passion for supporting students both academically as students and holistically as people through the relationships he developed. Following this experience, he became a TA Integrated Success Coach with Transformative Learning and found an avenue to blend his skills in both counseling and sports psychology to help students perform their best in the classroom and beyond.

How he describes himself:

Laid-back, pragmatic, problem-solver, optimistic, principled

What he enjoys doing outside of work: staying active (jiu-jitsu, boxing, golf), being outdoors (fishing, going to the lake, hiking), and spending quality time with friends, family, and my dog Humphrey.

A goal in life: earn a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Fun Fact: Trevor once went skydiving over the Pacific Ocean in Hawaii along with two 80-year-old Vietnam war veterans. Great times!
