Green Dot is a bystander intervention program designed to reduce instances of interpersonal violence through proactive and reactive strategies. The program empowers members of the UK community to intervene safely and effectively in potentially harmful situations.
A core part of Green Dot’s approach is the 3 D's intervention framework, which offers flexible, practical strategies for taking action:
DirectStep in and address the situation directly.
DelegateGet help from others, such as friends, staff, or authorities.
DistractCreate a diversion to diffuse the situation.
