Student organizations at UK may be assigned a specific conduct status based on their standing with the university. These statuses help students make informed decisions about involvement and ensure organizations operate responsibly. See below for more details on the status types and their definitions.
Student Organizations Conduct Report
The University of Kentucky is committed to providing a safe educational environment for everyone. The university expects that all students and organizations will observe and fully comply with university regulations and local, state, and federal law. To help you make informed choices about joining student organizations at UK, we provide this report on student organization conduct violations. Think about this information as you evaluate the safety and integrity of the organizations you’re considering joining. We care about your safety and well-being, and we appreciate your support as we work together to keep our campus and community safe.
In accordance with the Stop Campus Hazing Act, the university publishes this Campus Hazing Transparency Report detailing confirmed hazing violations by organizations formally affiliated with the institution. The report also includes confirmed violations related to alcohol, drugs, physical assault, and sexual assault. This report is not reflective of incidents currently under active investigation. Incidents that have been resolved through the conduct process appear on this report after the decision-making phase has concluded.

Student Organization Status Types
Revocation
Revocation of student organization status is a designated period of time in which a student organization is not recognized by UK and does not receive designated privileges defined by Administrative Regulation 4:1 , Registration and Recognition of Student Organizations.
Conduct Probation
Conduct Probation is a designated period of time in which a student organization is not considered in good standing with UK. Subsequent policy violations may result in more severe restorative actions, up to and including revocation of student organization status from UK.
Official Warning
An official warning is a written notice to the student organization found responsible for a violation of the Code or UK policy. A record of an official warning is maintained as part of the student organization’s disciplinary record.
Informal Warning
An informal warning is an oral or written warning to the student organization found responsible for a violation of the Code when the circumstances and severity of actions do not warrant the development of an official conduct record. No official record of an informal warning is maintained as part of the student organization's disciplinary record.
Revoked Organizations
Below are student organizations that are on revocation status. Students should avoid joining these organizations or attending events hosted by them. Registered student organizations should not be co-hosting events with revoked organizations. Additionally, individuals should not act on behalf of revoked student organizations (i.e. collecting dues, hosting events, recruiting members, etc.).
