Pop-Up Sensory Space During K-Week 2025!
NESI: Neurodiverse Educational Social Initiative
NESI is a student-led initiative focused on creating a supportive, social, and empowering space for neurodivergent students and allies. Through regular meetups, events, and conversations, we aim to foster understanding, celebrate different ways of thinking and learning, and advocate for meaningful change on campus.
Whether you identify as neurodivergent or simply want to learn more and support your peers — there’s a place for you in NESI.

Event Highlight: DIY Sensory Jar
A big thank you to everyone—students, faculty, and staff—who joined us for our recent DIY Sensory Jar event! This hands-on workshop provided a creative opportunity to explore sensory regulation strategies while fostering connections in a supportive environment. Participants had a blast creating personalized sensory jars, offering a fun and calming tool for everyday use. We’re so glad to have shared this experience with the UK community!

“I also just wanted to take the time and really appreciate what you helped me with yesterday with the accommodations. It's one of the first times I have really felt seen on campus. Thank you again!”

"I really appreciate everything you have done thus far. Thank you for being an advocate and allowing me to feel heard."
