To verify monthly enrollment status with the VA, students will need to select one of the options below. 

• Text: To verify via text, students can opt-in when they begin using their VA benefits to receive a text message from the VA on the last day of each month to confirm their enrollment
• Email: If student chooses to opt out of text verification, they will receive monthly enrollment verification messages by email.
• Online: Students can verify their enrollment through VA’s online tool, Ask VA
• By Phone: Students can verify by calling VA Education Hotline at 888-442-4551

This process is to be completed by all students using VA education benefits (Post-9/11 - Chapter 33, MGIB and Chapter 35 DEA)
