Kim served 6 years in the United States Air Force and is currently serving in the Kentucky Air National Guard.  Kim works in the UK Veterans Resource Center providing certification for students who are using Chapter 35 VA education benefits at UK.

In her spare time, Kim enjoys spending time exploring Kentucky, hiking and traveling with her husband and two dogs.
