Outdoor Adventures Floracliff Forest Escape

Join us for a refreshing half-day hiking experience at Floracliff Nature Sanctuary—one of Central Kentucky’s most beautiful hidden gems. Tucked along the Kentucky River Palisades just outside Lexington, this protected sanctuary features dramatic limestone gorges, seasonal waterfalls, and an incredible diversity of native wildflowers. This guided hike will cover approximately 3–4 miles of moderate, natural-surface trail with some elevation change and uneven terrain. Along the way, we’ll explore shaded woodland paths, scenic overlooks, and (season permitting) cascading waterfalls that make Floracliff especially stunning in spring.
