The Fall 2025 Wild Cat Intramural Sports Volleyball season was fun and competitive, and that energy was felt by both participants and staff throughout the season. Every league brought great energy and close sets.

Volleyball featured four leagues: Open Competitive, Open Recreational, Co-Ed, and Women/Sorority.

Co-Ed was by far the most popular league, with 32 teams participating. With that many teams, the bracket was chaotic in a good way, producing highly competitive matches and several upsets. This league featured some of the strongest teams and players, making the late playoff games especially fun to watch. “Beat Blockerz” won the championship, completing a perfect season. “The Pickles” had a strong and surprising playoff run, confidently telling officials they would win it all. They ultimately fell to Beat Blockerz 2–1 but clearly enjoyed the entire experience.

Open Rec was smaller than expected, with five teams participating. This league is typically intended for newer players or teams focused on fun. “The Nether Region” won the championship, defeating “Big Cajones” 2–0. Big Cajones put up a solid fight and stood out for how much fun they had while playing. The Nether Region played clean volleyball throughout the night. Due to the low number of teams, several players expressed interest in having more games rather than a single-elimination format.

The most consistent league was Women/Sorority, which had 13 teams. Each team included a mix of experienced and newer players. Delta Zeta won the championship and earned the t-shirts. While DZ had some of the most experienced players in the league, they still played several close matches.
